The controllers

Posted 08-25-2010 at 09:58 AM by Steve

I use the following short forms, they seems to be well accepted, but just so that you're not wondering what the heck I'm talking about:

NES = Nintendo Entertainment System (1985)
I owned one of these very early on, having previously been a big fan of the Atari 2600. There was no doubt about whether my brother and I would use it, and this was a simple Christmas decision for my parents

Nostelgic Retro Video Gaming

Posted 08-25-2010 at 09:18 AM by Steve

For those of you around my age, you may recall, perhaps with fondness, the video game systems I'm about to discuss. Those younger may recall some of them, or recognize the games from ports that have been made to other machines.

A few years ago I rediscovered an Atari 2600 emulator that I had used many, many moons ago. I started playing some of the games, like PacMan and Yar's Revenge. This brought back a rush from my childhood and I went in search of a similar piece of software...

That's mostly because they aren't looking to be hit like that by a receiver. He's been in the league long enough now that all opposing defensive players should...

With the latest "rash" (lol, sorry Karl, I had ta use that flashy word) of eBay auctions posted that are to some, way outta control, I was moved again to wonder why we collect.
We have had many a discussion and some "hot" I might add, about WHY we collect.
I collect for, blah, blah, blah.....
I thought that this may be interesting to you all. It was in my recent Franklin Mint email, and was the results of a competition they had, for people to tell them why
